We are taking enrolments for the Year 1 Bachelor of Teaching Kura Kaupapa Māori Degree.
The bachelor’s programme is run over 3 years. The first year of this programme is Ahurewa 100, then Ahurewa 200 and lastly Ahurewa 300.
If you have prior learning from other institutions, you can discuss with Te Wānanga Takiura about crossing credits you have completed from other qualifications into our Bachelor of Teaching Kura Kaupapa Māori.

This is a three year course for Māori teacher training and education. The course is taught entirely in te reo Māori and students must be competent in Māori language in order to participate in this programme.
Pre-entry Literacy and Numeracy Tests
There will be pre-entry oral, literacy and numeracy tests in Te reo Māori in order to ascertain levels of competence in these two areas
